We are hiring compassionate caregivers to work with older adults in La Mesa and the surrounding East County area. Part-time and full-time shifts available.
We are looking for reliable, caring people to join our team in La Mesa. This role involves supporting older adults in their homes with daily activities — personal care, light housekeeping, meals, and companionship — so they can stay independent longer.
What you will do
- Assist with personal care — bathing, grooming, and dressing — in a respectful, dignified way
- Prepare and assist with meals
- Light housekeeping: laundry, vacuuming, tidying common areas
- Medication reminders (not administration)
- Transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities
- Provide companionship and conversation
- Document care activities using our mobile app

We are a small, locally owned agency. When something comes up — a schedule conflict, a concern about a client — you talk to someone who knows you and your situation. We hire for character first; skills can be taught.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable personal transportation and current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check and TB test
- Valid California driver's license
- Smartphone for care documentation app
- Physical ability to assist with transfers and mobility support
